Over 200 games were played during the four days, and 51
participants beat a PA Pegger. Those names were entered in a drawing to win
a tournament cribbage board, and Kristina
Schroeder’s name was drawn on Sunday at the end
of the fair.
The two rarest hands in cribbage, the 28 hand and the 29 hand, also made an
appearance at the fair. Port Angeles native and 2009 Grass Roots
National Champion Ron Gustafson drew a 29 hand against PA Resident Toby
Williams in one match. In another match, local resident Cal Roedell
drew a 28 hand against local
resident and PA Pegger, Larry Lindberg.
