Thank You!
We had some fantastic
volunteers at the first annual  Leprechaun Classic.
The Eagles provided a great facility for the cribbage
players, and the volunteers (featured at right) who
worked so hard, gave us an excellent breakfast and
lunch.

Our members worked their tails off to set up,
register, sell raffle tickets, make out the score cards,
get the blind draws going, and just plain old be a
hospitable bunch of PA Peggers.

Thanks to Curt Batey, Rick Shadforth, and Frannie Sales  for being available each day of the tournament.  Rick allowed
use of his truck for hauling the supplies, which was a big help when all we have is a Toyota Prius!  Curt.
Rick, Ron Gustafson, and Brian Paulsen all were working hard to set up the annex for the tournament.  Brian even got
up on the 12 foot rickety ladder to hang garland.

Frannie Sales donated two of her delectable apple pies for the raffle, and Sharon Hamilton donated two baby dolls dressed in her hand crocheted outfits.  Sharon also fed the masses with a delicious, large scale lemon meringue pie. Ron brought two batches of his smoked salmon, which is always popular with the cribbage players. Curt constructed two stands to hold up both the ACC banner and the PA Peggers banner.   Brian donated a 29 hand board that he made himself, and was later awarded to Mills Brubaker.

Thank you everyone for all of your help.  We have a great group of cribbage members!
